Natland Park Caravan Site in Kendal, Cumbria in the Lake District. Based on Natland Park Farm, a family run working dairy farm, with a herd of 90 Holestein Freisan cows and 130 calves which are our future milking herd.
We are based a stones throw from the market town of Kendal, in the South Lakes, famous for Kendal Mint Cake, Kendal Castle famous for the wife of King Henry v111, Catherine Parr, and the quaker tapestry to name just two , just outside the village of Natland. A small general shop and post office is open 6 days a week for newspapers and groceries, with supermarket a mile away.
An excellent base for those wanting to be in to the Lake district, for either fell walking, climbing or indeed mountain biking.
Our site is family run, which is a comfortable basic site ,ideal for those with families or just wanting to retreat from the hustle and bustle of normal life. But near enough to be in the town with a five minutes drive.
Pets are very welcome, as long as they have wellbehaved owners with them, we do ask that all pets are under control at all times due to the nature of the site.
We are open from the 15th March 2024 to 3rd January 2025.
(two showers which has enough time on the meter to clean four small children)
We have visited this site a number of times, very peaceful and part of a working farm. The owners cannot do enough for you. The site is clean and very tidy. Very handy for Kendal and the southern lakes.

Lovely peaceful and small campsite, surrounded by beautiful countryside. Local walks and a supermarket are accessible by foot too. Windermere is easily reached by train, bus or even on foot if you fancy a long hike like we did. Very friendly site owner who is a pleasure to deal with. The facilities are always clean and I now feel so comfortable staying here that I am planning on visiting by myself soon, like others were doing. A real jem of a camping and caravan site. Hightly recommended.

Our family-run caravan site is surrounded by our own farmland. The Farm is a traditional livestock rearing farm, come and enjoy our own livestock and get close to nature.
